Slaughterhouse!!!

The group formed in late 2008 after Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9" appeared on the song "Slaughterhouse" from Joe Budden's album Halfway House. That's how they came up with the name. This album apparently was recorded over a seven day period in June. The members of Slaughterhouse all share some beefn' from their past in music. Crooked I who's from L.A. was signed to Suge Knight's Death Row label 1999-2003, he left after his cd was shelved. Because of Knight's problems with the law. Joe Budden Jersey!!! had some success with Def Jam in the 2000s, but for reasons, had a fall out with Jay-Z when he became head of the label. Budden eventually left Def Jam and released a diss track to Jay-Z "Talk to 'em." Joell Ortiz New York was signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label but left after he was told that his album would not be released until both Eminem and Dr. Dre released their albums. Last but not least Royce Da 5'9" Detroit is known for his falling out and feud with Eminem and D12. All four men address these issues in the Slaughterhouse song "Move On"...seems to me its gonna be okay...too many head in one pot for me...oh well they make money I earn mine...
